Start small. Make weird things. Enjoy and embrace the weirdness. Finish simple things. Your early work will be rough — that's a good sign. It means you're learning. And as long as you're learning, you're moving forward.

People often think you need to be a genius to make games. But that's not true. You don't need to be a genius. You just need to be stubborn enough to keep going.

So remember: every expert was once a beginner, and there is no expert who knows it all. Embrace the messiness of learning. Don't be afraid to fail, because you won't fail. Only failure is not trying at all or giving up.
