Space Invaders for Pico-8

Defend Earth from waves of alien invaders in this retro-style arcade game. Use the arrow keys to move your spaceship left and right, and shoot down the descending aliens before they reach the bottom of the screen. Enjoy classic gameplay with pixel art graphics and nostalgic sound effects. Talking about sound effects, I decided not to use sound for invader movement, as it is horrible.

This is a loose port of my JavaScript Space Invaders game. Port might be a bit of a strong word, maybe I should say "recreation" instead. Made with the Pico-8 fantasy console.
