Game Description
Fruit search is a fun and challenging word-finding game designed for Pico-8. You are tasked with discovering hidden words (names of different fruits) in a grid of letters, where words can appear horizontally, vertically, and if selected also in reverse. Reverse means words can also appear from right to left and down to up. There are 12 different words to be found in each puzzle, and every generated puzzle is unique.
Game starts from the title screen. Use đ žī¸-button (z-key on keyboard) to turn reverse words on or off. When you are ready, press â-button (x-key on keyboard) to start the game.
Use arrow keys to move around the letter grid. When you find a word, use â-button to select first letter and move the cursor to the last letter and select that also with â-button. If the word is correct, it will change its color to green. All words must be marked from the first letter of the word to the last. So, if you have found reversed word, you must mark the word from right to left. Game will end when you have found all the words.
đšī¸ Controls:Standard Pico-8 controls are đ žī¸ = z-key, and â = x-key on keyboard. âĄī¸âŦ ī¸âŦī¸âŦī¸ are arrow keys. Press Enter to pause the game and access the settings like sound and volume.
